Had this sent to me and figured I would share.

I think this formula would work with welfare recipients as well...

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table...everywhere. Then some of the birds turned mean: They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud: They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore. I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. Soon, the back yard was like it used to be...quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal.

Now let's see-our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be a automatic citizen. Then the illegals came by the tens of thousands. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families: you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor: you child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English: Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.

Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder.

This place started with an idea. Now it's gotten way out of hand. You can't keep providing for people on a mass scale. It's simple business, heavy cost+no profit (to society or the collective) will eventually ruin you. Free lunch? It's never been free.

Good find Hammer71!

How about if we start putting the AMERICAN CITIZENS that knowingly hire illegal aliens in jail?

Last time I checked, it was still illegal to hire illegal aliens and it was still illegal to not pay taxes, but you never hear anyone complain about John Doe and Bill Smith breaking the law, do you? Why aren't these people in the spotlight, too?

It's because John Doe and Bill Smith have money and lawyers; blood suckers hiring blood suckers to keep the vein open. Go to the root of the problem, not the symptoms of the problem. It's not as simple as it sounds, of course, but it's something... and something is always better than nothing.

Why am I the only one who see's it this way? OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE, and start calling spades, spades. String up a few fat, greedy gringos, expose their greed and see how fast the jobs start drying up.

I like it.

I've always wondered why illegal immigrants think they can protest to get more rights. You're illegally here, you deserve NO rights.

sigh, I guess I just don't understand.

New12r, Not posted to start a war although I figured it may start one. But who cares it's us keeping our mouths shut that keeps this crap going. A check at our library at work showed newspaper ads being placed down in the Carolinas advertising the great welfare system in New York (typically) Newburgh N.Y.,which at the time was an upcoming area that was being touted as the next NYC. Low and behold we now have the highest crime rate in NY and when getting to talk with the people that have a vocabulary I come to find that they have been on the system forever due to relatives coming from various parts of the country way back when and have actually said why give up a good thing. LOL

And hell yeah MARCH BADNESS V (how many days)

Think about this though. How about you give them enough to survive on and tell them their problems are caused by people and things they have no control over. Then you tell them you will continue to support them as long as they continue to vote for you.

You stay in power and they have food and shelter. The idea spreads till and this way of life is the only one they know and they continue to support you. Its the most perfect scam ever, ever.

The question then is this.

Are we the only ones that F-in see this?
I'm sure many agree that it's getting a little old. And we would have an easier time taking care of our own families if this crap was curtailed a bit. Time for a revolution. (again)

it was a belief among the founding fathers that our country would require a revolution every few generations in order to stay fresh and responsive. a pity the first set of "politicians" elected in then wrote laws strictly forbidding it. they sealed the fate of generations to come, sounds similar to corporate america today.

the right to bear arms, incidenatlly, was written in to allow the citizenry to topple totalitarian regimes which might seek to reduce our constitutional rights.
welfare needs to be severely streamlined.
what bugs me the most is the politicizing of initiatives.
one really can't be pro-environment while being pro-immigration, although almost all American 'environmentalists' are.
our nation simply hasn't the resources to support all of these new 'resource gluttons'.
America needs to simply close it's borders.
now. just try to spend your hard-earned US dollars abroad, and you can feel, first-hand, how we've sh*t on ourselves, economically.

Funny, just saw something on the Web saying the US government is in talks with China to allow importation of poultry products. Never mind the documentation showing nearly all food items that we import from China is tainted (the small percentage that is checked). Pandemic avian flu is going to happen.

1 Vote! But do so with your own education. Not what the media tells you to vote for. Vote American. Not democrat or Republican. George Washington spent most of his farwell speech warning Americans about the RISK of politcal parties.

2 Understand the effect that corruption and lobbist have on the political system.

3 Fear. Don't let politicians play on your fear or emotions. They will use fear on the elderly by saying the other side will take away your _____. Or that the other side will let the __________ win. Be educated beyond a 30 second news clip.

If this topic is interesting read some of what the founding fathers had to say.

Background Information on S. 1348 aka Amnesty bill.

Customs and Border Protection must have hired (not trained or deployed) a total of 18,000 Border Patrol agents;
or define which border they will be on
The Department of Homeland Security must have installed 370 miles of border fence (about half the total miles of fencing required by the law passed by Congress and signed by the President at the end of the last Congress), along with some vehicle barriers and radar and camera towers, and deployed at least four unmanned aerial vehicles; Previous pass law required 800 miles of which in a years time less than 6 miles have been installed.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement must have 27,500 detention beds (the number it has now) and DHS must continue to detain removable aliens apprehended along the southern border;

DHS must have the tools to prevent illegal aliens from obtaining jobs, including the establishment of (though not the widespread use of) identification standards (presumably like those required by past laws, including the REAL ID Act) and an electronic work eligibility verification system (like the Basic Pilot); and
USCIS must be “processing and adjudicating in a timely manner” Z visa applications (since these are not supposed to be issued until the triggers are met, apparently, USCIS would be deciding them and saving them for later issuance).
So the triggers do NOT require that DHS have operational control of the border; they do NOT require that DHS comply with the law and build the all of the fence; they do NOT require that DHS implement the exit system that would allow us to know if "guest workers" actually leave, even though it has been in the law since 1996; they do NOT require work site enforcement; and they do NOT require that DHS increase its apprehension rate or its alien absconder removal rate.

Once the Secretary made the certification that the triggers had been met, USCIS would have to issue millions of Z visas within a six-month period because all “probationary” status would expire six months after issuance began. (If the certifications were never made because the triggers were never met, thus preventing issuance of the Z visas, the probationary status would remain valid indefinitely until Congress or the Administration took action.

So the triggers do not have to be meet. IMO 6 months to hire enough Border guards is almost enough time. But not enough to train them. The fence could not be built in 6 months - proven by recent work speed on previous 800 mile fence law!

DHS would collect another $4,000 from each head of household, check that they are learning some English and that they have paid their taxes Most lower income family with lots of kids GET HUGE tax returns. , but only since they were legalized. Those Z visa holders who declined the offer of a green card could simply renew their Z visa every four years for as long as they wanted to remain in the United States.

Thinking that sometimes the best place to be an American, is overseas! Expat rates are actually pretty damn nice exchanges in some areas. I am convinced that if every card carrying AARP member went and bought land in Mexico, vacationed there, bought summer houses and hired workers there, the migrant illegal workers would QUIT coming here! just my .089 pescos worth

went and bought land in Mexico

Mexico does not allow Americans to directly buy land/house/business in there country. To do so there is some type of co-signer type system. You pay a bank to buy the house for you but technically you don't directly own it,,, something like that.

If we inforced the previous Amensty bill of the 1980's on labor enforcement 95% of the problems would decrease.

I'd like to hear that story. A lot of people were talking about Karl at MBIV, but I never placed a face to the name until the event was over.
