Only two hours left until I'm 40! Is it ok to go buy a Corvette or something to ease the mid-life crisis?

You could do what I did - and put off racing for another 9 years yet!

Corvette... naaawwww. If you are truly doing the whole midlife crisis, you need a European sports car and a decorative second wife.

Most folks find that combination too deadly and CERTAINLY too expensive!!!

You mean a mazda miata? Then you can join the miata forums and go to the local get togethers.

It doesn't matter what you do, you are officially on the slippery slope at 40. Yeah, it's all over, just work real hard at having all the fun you can, you've probably only got another 50- 60 years to get it all in.

oh

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Rotzaruck!!

Happy B-day.
About the Corvette thing, I have a younger female friend that says every time she pulls next to an older guy in a Corvette, she wants to say
"sorry to hear about your penis", smile and just drive away

FYI, I had one when I was in my 20s, after a while you realize that there just another Chevy, unless your one of those "Corvette guys"

I think I'd want something REALLY funky... like a Plymouth Prowler, for example...

Ah, I remember 40. I bought a Subaru Outback Station Wagon. Shows where my priorities lie...

I'll be 50 in December. If I'd known I was gonna live this long, I would've taken better care of myself!

Sure, go ahead.

But you will appreciate it more if you wait a few years.
