Hi all, This is the same post as below but I forgot the help part in the subject. Tired of rewelding up my stock exhaust and Vance and Hines slip on. Does anyone here know if a whole system from a 98' S3 Thunderbolt will fit on my 00 M2? Have a Forcewinder intake so the ugly box should not be in the way. Thanks, Edddyjoe | ||

yes it will, But the pipe will be over the frame vs under the frame... Have you updated to the newer Y exhaust hanger? If not that could be your problem and you may break the One piece as well... | ||

American Sport Bike sells the Y-hanger kit. It should take care of you problem. | ||

i am of the belief that the frame changed slightly causing the necessity for the new pipe to run under instead of over, and therefore the two are incompatible. maybe one fits the other but not the other way???? anyone actually try this yet? | ||

I've seen the older style exhaust fitted to the last gen chassis. I don't think it works the other way around. I didn't like the look at all, though. | ||

A older, over the frame, exhaust will work on any tuber. A newer, under the frame, will only work on 99-02 bikes. (unless you mod the pipe, PPiA did this on his S1 Turbo) | ||
