Well, im really digging this bike. I havent demoed one yet but i will soon.. Im trying to talk my wife into a bike where we would be comfy on long rides as the Ss just dont cut it! (dont worry, im going to keep the Buell)

Only problem is, she wants her own bike. I dont think she can hack it on her own and have been trying to talk her out of it.. Hell, she gets tired on the back of mine after awile.

Anybody have one of these, know anyone with one or have demoed one with any info???

I don't see any passenger provisions?? At the very least it does not look like a good 2 up bike (but it is a great looking cruiser!).
If she continues to insist on riding herself - let her take the course at a HD dealer where they supply the Blasts.
As we know, riding yourself is not always what people envision and this way you have minimum investment to find out!

Ian,
Don't under estimate your SO, she will, more than likely, surprise you. I couldn't imagine riding two up on any Buell for long periods. The folks I know that do are doing a lot stretching at the gas stops.

Enroll your wife in motorcycle safety course and let her have at it.

well our Abate classes here in Indiana(south bend) are pretty much booked for the summer.. I do know the dude running the Abate course(work with him) and have talked to him about getting her in.. so we will see..

she was talking non-stop about it for 3 weeks. Its been 2 weeks now and she hasn't said anything....maybe the thrill has past...

don't get me wrong, her having her own bike would be fun and cool...but then i wont have a nice cruiser!!!

I have ridden the M109R, and also would like one. I found the ground clearance lacking and scraped the pegs easy - but this was in tight corners after hopping straight off the XB - for a cruiser it actually handles very well. Keep it in the sweepers rather than the switchbacks and its happy days! - the engine is absolutely amazing - will smoke the rear tyre from lights by simply twisting the throttle - but also great sound and feel to it and addictive to roll on the power - possibly best engine I have experienced in any bike ever. Speedo is hard to read which is a worry on such a powerful bike but you would get used to it. Passenger seat clips in when needed or can use cowl as in picture, would be worth getting a back rest also for two up perhaps.

It looks like a cruise ship...er ah, I guess it is! Not exactly my cup o' tea, but OK for the older folks and women.
