Well hopefully. This time next week I'll be in Far North Queensland attending an XB12X press shindig. Riding from Cairns up to Cooktown and environs on new Ulys. Doing a bit of ground work and I find The Ulysses Butterfly: The Ulysses Butterfly is an icon of Tropical Northern Australia. It has spectacular large iridescent metallic-blue wings that can be seen from a great distance. http://www.daintreerainforest.com/fauna.html I love it when I get an angle before the gig. Hope I don't get et by a croc getting the shot! Daintree - Uly - Harley gig. Unbelievable. Counting down - Keep you posted. |

woo hoo At Cairns airport filling in time before the flight back to NZ. 7 Journos on Ulys did the far north queensland ride - Cairns to Cape Melville. Serious outback. 1000km over 50/50 dirt and sealed roads. Amazing ride. Full factory backup too. All the journos are in love with the bike. Seriously. There will be some VERY favourable press over the next few months. Made me look like a genius. The bikes killed it. We also had 2 TTs along for the ride. They went well too. Didn't take as many pics as I normally would because Lou Martin (doyen of Aussie lensmen) was along too and we were a bit of a non-stop freight train through the red dust. But he's got some fabulous action shots. Will share what I can when I get 'em. i'll put up a link up to my shots when I get home. What a GREAT motorcycle. If there is re-incarnation I wanna come back as me. dd |
