my tires just came in today but i wont be puting them on till the end on this month.. I have the original D207's that im going to burn a hole in on the burnout pit the last saturday of this month at my local HD(for shits and giggles)....

For those of you with these tires, what are you running for tire pressure? The tires say max 42psi.. should i stay with 36f 38r?

At the track I run 33 front 36 rear and like the way it feels. In fact, I run this pressure on the streets with no issues. I was told this by a Continental sponsored rider at a track day.

36f 38r is the conti spec as far as i remember. From what I have read these tires like the buells themselves are very sensative to tire pressure. They tend to like a little bit more than the factory 35 psi.

yeah i was going to start with the 36f and 38r.. figured there had to be someone running them on here that could give me a close pressure to start with..

I have tried different pressures in over two years of using the attacks. settled on 38 front and 40 in the rear. great tires!

I just mounted a Road Attack rear about 250 miles ago (still running a Z6 front). First impression...the Conti Sticks like glue and is super stable at peg-scraping lean angles.

I've been running the rear at 38psi, but I am going to try 40psi on my next ride.

33/36 sounds right for the track, Conti recommends higher on the street.

I had a test ride deal going with CONTI for a set of RA's adn dealing directly with the president of ContinentalNorthAmerica, was told to run 42 rear and 38 front. After my first ride I told him it felt like I was riding on 'FlintStone' tire's and asked if it would be safe to back the tire pressure's back to what Buell recomended, he said that it would be no problem. The ride became very firmly planted at that point. Got almost 10,000 miles outta of them.
Got the same deal going right now with the new Sport Attacks, which the company says you get 25% less life than the Road Attacks! But to this point the pressures have had to been adjusted just for mileage sake! The first rear I had I only got 1900 miles out of, and that included MBIV.

I say run them at Buell's spec!!!

How many miles are you getting on the Road Attack rear?

After 800 Miles the 'Conti Road Attack' text is completely worn off.

I was getting 5,000+ miles out of a Z6 rear, I am hoping for at least 5,000 from the Road Attack.

Tpoppa-sume you were asking me?
If so I would have gotton closer to 10,000 out of the rear. But like I said, two weeks after mounting them I had to super slab it up to Southern Illinois. at an average speed of 90-100 up there the tire took a licking. I ended up with about 8800 miles on the Road Attacks. But now I am runing the Sport Attacks, which is a tire more suited to an occasional track day.y

Amricanmade-probably the best thing to do!

Tpoppa, I've got over 6k on my rear Road Attack, guessing another 1k-2k left on it before it gets to the wear bars.

I did 2 superslab trips (around 500 miles each) and that seemed to do the most wear as it's a bit "flat" in the center of the tire now.

I've got just over 7k miles on my set (on a Uly). I'm running them at 38 front/40 rear (I think the factory recommends 36f/38r). I'll probably get another 1-2k out of the rear - I'll definitely be into the wear bars by then. I'm betting the front would go the distance of another rear but it's got some cupping already. I do alot of slab commuting to work everyday so I've got a nice flat spot down the center of the rear tire.

Overall, I've been really happy with them.
