I've been riding motorcycles on the street for about 16 years now. The past couple of years have been here in South Florida. It seems lately that every time I do ride here on the streets there is always some kind of "close call". I'm not the fastest guy out there, nor am I the slowest. I like to ride fast when it is safe! But, it seems that is just the problem. The streets just don't seem as safe as they once were. I am about ready hang it up on the streets and become a track junkie. I may be pushing my limits on the track, but in the event I do go down I know there will not be any oncoming traffic or concrete walls to hit.
