There's no doubt in my mind that this not your ole man's BMW company. It's light on its feet and producing a host of exciting machines. I still keep my eye on Buell though, eagerly awaiting the next wave.

I wouldn't say that they "beat Buell to the punch".

I don't think that a 450cc dirtbike from BMW is much of a surprise.

A 450cc dirtbike from Buell under the umbrella of HD is a surprise.

I give them credit though, jumping right into the World Enduro Championship with a new bike is a gutsy move. Go for it!
