HEY!!!!
I've seem those before
They came in the set I got for my M2
theres a thread about it in old school
One of the guys there said to use all the gaskets, not knowing they had added those to the set. I had everybody confused, especially me.
Nobody ever determined what they were for, but there sure wasn't anywhere to put them
I've got some more if you're starting a collection

Thanks Rotzaruck-
I couldn't figure out how to use them. I didn't know if they were guides or something.

That was pretty funny, when it was going on. I was trying to describe them, and could not. The open bottom leg tubs description had them all thinking I was crazy. I finally posted pics, they still didn't know what they were for, but I sure couldn't use them. If you can find that thread, or some of the others, there are some other things they recommend doing in the process.

I don't know what they are for either.
I've thrown 2 sets away so far.
Maybe a universal top end kit that fits all XL motors. Even the new ones?

When did they change from the metal ones? Do the new ones work as well as the metal did?

they are the new style gaskets for chrome covers on 04 and later XL's. H-D changed the lower rocker cuz they were leaking. just toss them out.

Bill,
The last set I got (last week) was the new rubber coated metal version.
They look to be quite robust.
