I just signed up for the 2 day Street School on June 12th and 13th at Loudon. I can't wait. The 12th is my birthday, so this is my present to myself. |

Safety wire the oil filter and tape up you lights, and you are basicly preped for trackdays. They don't require much unless you are actually racing. |

That's it?? You don't have to safely wire the drain plugs? or anything else? |

I didn't last year, and I passed tech. It might be a good idea though. |

From Penguin's web site: "Motorcycle Preparation Your motorcycle should most importantly be clean and oil tight. Tires that are in good condition (50% tread or more) are a must. You should remove your mirrors, tape up all of your lights, and it's a good idea to cover up your speedometer (helps focus on the track). We also highly recommend removing your side stands, although it is not required. Be aware that they can drag on most bikes. You also need to remove all of your antifreeze and replace it with water or approved race coolant. If you plan to ride to the track, leave yourself a minimum of 30 minutes to prepare your bike in the morning." |

With the track day that I went to last year, they didn't require you to have health insurance. I also didn't see anything on Penguin's site asking for it. |
