Any good roads in that area? I'll be near DC for two weeks for training and I'll be taking my bike out. Plannin on the Gap and Blue Ridge Parkway to get there, but looking for things to do while I'm there (like hitting two more states I haven't been to)

Thanks for any tips

Well, it's not particularly challenging... but I always enjoy riding the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel. On a nice sunny day, you can't beat it!

I live in DC and ride out 70 miles to Front Royal, VA and ride Skyline Drive if I really want to hit some twisties. Go to the Storm Front and post in the DC-VA-MD section. Those guys have been in the area a lot longer than I have and know some pretty good roads.

Delaware 9 in northern DE between Dover AFB and Delaware City if not fast is very scenic as it winds through the coastal marshes and rural areas of the state.

Catoctin State Park has some nice twisties, and there are some really nice roads out west in the Thurmont area. Drop us a line in the DC/MD/VA stormfront page I'm sure some of us could give you a tour.
