My BMW is my staid, conservative work horse. My Buell is my "Wild and Crazy" toy. It wasn't enough that I got it in BRIGHT SCREAMING ORANGE (Sunset Orange to be exact) but I wanted to personalize it. So, I took the airbox cover, front fender and fly screen to these guys last week: http://www.cycledelics.com/index1.html I'll be picking up the parts this afternoon and when (or if) it stops raining this weekend I'll put everything back together. Photos (with requisite Hooters girl) coming soon. Stay tuned! |

Cool, now you just need to put some rear turn signals on the front and get some bar-end mirrors. If you haven't done so already, chop the cheese grater too. All will make a much cleaner, meaner, look! |

Well, I have one more plastic part I'm replacing with CF (as soon as American Sportbike ships it). I don't plan on getting rid of the cheese grater because I do ride in the rain, and I'm not crazy about muddy stripes on my back. Don't bar end mirrors make the bike wider? I'm thinking of how it'll affect lane splitting (yeah, I know it's illegal... I still do it because sometimes around here if you don't, you don't get anywhere). And I'm not sure how putting rear turn signals on the front help? Please explain (I've never heard of that before). |

i put rear signal on the front of mine. it allows you to take those extensions off that make the signals stick so far out. it just moves the signals about 1 inch closer to the bike. it looks nice. they don't stick out so far and look out of place. cleans up the front a little and still looks factory. |

Who needs a kick stand? I've got it perfectly balanced on the tires! But seriously, I just noticed that too. It's the angle of the photographs that are hiding it from view. Cool effect! Looks like those magazine photos where the bikes seem to be mysteriously levitating... |
