Glad you get to see one. I have been to the TT and it very cool and I have watched a car hill climb in Ireland. Always wanted to get to one of these bike races, they are simply nuts. You get to stand and watch in places they wouldn't let the photographers be at a US race.

If I owned a Harley, it would look like this.

Although they didn't have any Buell shirts they did have 1 item on the shelf............. FOR 14 BUCKS U.S.!!!!

cool custom for sale....... $32K

Buell display

Check out the front tire on this display bike! WOW

In case you were wondering how much a new Buell costs??? 1 pound = 2 U.S. dollars

Check out the front tire on this display bike! WOW

It's an intermediate race tyre - which explains a lot!

Hey Rocket....... wanna meet up this weekend? I'm flying into Leeds on Friday.

Let me know.

Dave.... It was awesome. I stayed for about 5 hours then I had to go. My knee couldn't take it anymore. My favorites were the 125's, classics and the 600's but they were all cool. Just wish I didn't have this bum knee, I would have stuck around a little longer. Great time!! Very friendly folks who love their motorcycle racing.

Sunday would be good.

It would be nice if you could get a bike to ride. My 916 is not road legal, which only leaves the Buell - with a seat not big enough for two, lol. I'll see if I can come up with something.

Stand by.

Post up your current hotel contact info here or at seanpepper at gmail dot com

Checked in a few hours ago. Was watchin some tv....... just woke up. I guess the 3 hours of sleep I got last night after drinking wasn't enough.

I am in the studio across the street from the main building. It's #22 and the studio is around back. Like Ducxl said my full name is in my profile. pronounced More-era.

Is there anything to do in York? It looks like a pretty small town.

More pubs in York than you can shake a stick at,

& for some of them you'll need the stick!

If Jim can take the pace of English life, then according to my advice he'll be downing a few pints of fine Northern English ale in the Kings Arms.

Weird that I found this online guide, written by Jim. Jim? No not that Jim. Another Jim.

Kings Arms

Hope to meet tomoz if things pan out my end ok Jim.

Rocket,

I am still laughing at the descriptions of the pubs in York. Jim, the creator of the site, is a funny man.

Jim and I didn't meet, though we spoke on the phone a couple of times.

It's my Mums birthday tomorrow, and today was a Bank Holiday in the UK, so my sister and I took my Mum visiting an old school friend she'd not seen in many years.

Unfortunately Jim's commitments and my timing were somewhat skewed. Though I did give Jim advice on some good places to visit. I believe he had a colleague to collect from Leeds airport this afternoon, so I hope he managed to find his way to Squires Coffee Bar at least on his return journey to York.

Lastly, I understand Jim was having trouble connecting to the net at his York digs. No doubt he'll be here with tales from afar soon enough.

Just in case you didn't make Squires, Jim. You could always set off early for your flight back to Belfast, and visit Squires on route.

hello all..... yes the connection I have sucks really bad. I have only been able to connect very randomly. I have a connection now as I am at the customer site. : (

I am leaving tonight to go fly to Belfast. I will be in Leeds for a few hours after I drop off the rental. Will probably work half a day today.

Rocket...... If you get this in time, let me know if you have any time off so we can get that all important picture for Ducxl. : )
