I'm not familiar with Daniel's Harbor. Is that up by St. Anthony and L'Anse aux Meadows?

I'm surprised that they didn't blame George Bush and global warming. He gets the blame for everything, even tooth decay.

I blame it on unusual vibrations set up in the Earth's crust by the odd, uneven firing order of a 45 degree cylinder, common crank v-twin internal combustion engine mounted by a system that only allows vibration in a single plane. Couldn't have been a Buell, though, because scientific research has conclusively shown that it could have this effect ONLY if vibrations were transmitted to the ground through a SINGLE ring-shaped, rubber object and Buells have two wheels. Wait! Oh my GOD! Has Newfie been doing wheelies again?!! It's the only reasonable explanation...

Got this Newfie joke on the Concours forum.

A Fort McMurray game warden busted a Newfie loading a cooler full of live fish into his car.

Warden: Sir, do you have a fishing license?

Newfie: No sir, I don't need a fishing license. These fish are my pets.

Warden: Really? Sounds like a fish story to me. I'm going to have to confiscate these fish and issue you a summons to appear in court for poaching.

Newfie: Sir, these really are my pet fish. Once a week I take them down to this lake and let 'em go swimming for half an hour. Then I call 'em back, load 'em up, and take 'em back home 'til the next week.

Warden: Really? That's the dumbest excuse I've ever heard in my thirty years in this business. You must be a Newfie. Tell you what. Bring your cooler down to the lake and we'll test your story out. Should be good for a laugh when I get back to the office.

They take the cooler down to the lake and let the fish go for a swim.

Warden: OK smart-ass, time is up. Call 'em back.

Newfie: Call what back??

I just got back from 2 weeks in Newfoundland (thanks again Bill) & it was cccccold, the bay outside the window of Newfie's country residence, was full of pack ice!
Fishing boats are trapped in the stuff & being resupplyed by helicopter.
I have to say though the weather may be no great shakes the place is magnificent & well worth visiting.
I'll post a pic when I get them developed.

The displaced Scotsman now living in France purchased some disposable cameras.

He then proceeded to the local Walmart and was amazed that a roll of film could be developed and printed for under $5.00 Canadian!!!!!!

Hope the trip wasa good one Grumps!!!!!
