should I be using the Thunderstorm torque values when installing XB heads on a 2000 tuber engine? are XB torque cvalues the same as tubers? can you spare $20 til payday?

No 20 dollars, But I have been using the Tuber torque values since I got the XB heads and have seen nor experienced any problems.

The head install procedures are the same between my 02 Cyclone and 03 Firebolt service manuals. Both bikes have Thunderstorm heads, though, so I can't say if they were different for a pre-storm tuber.

When I put them on my S1. I used the S1 manuals numbers, all has been fine.


Having done the top end gaskets on my RS using Cometic MLS. I used the Cometic numbers for torque.
