After riding over 30,000 miles in '06 and touring 28 states by bike TWO Tommy was really looking forward to MBIV in Suches. "His" Uly is now his favorite bike (if you see him ask him why) and he and his "driver" covered about 500 miles in the twisties this past weekend getting ready for the big event.  Unfortunately, shortly before supper Sunday evening Tommy fell from a playground platform and badly broke his arm. He broke it bad enough that Union General had him transferred to Scottish Rite in Atlanta. They had equipment and skills not available up here and he should be good as new in a month or so. Through it all he was tough as nails and he charmed the doctors and nurses at Scottish Rite.  He's home now and resting comfortably thanks to baby Vicodin and strawberry ice cream. He'll be there this weekend, but not on two wheels (no riding until the cast comes off). If you see him say "Hi."  | ||

"anybody gettin in dahelonga on thurs? I willbe there by 500 pm I hope!!!" I'm going to try to get in Dahlonega Thursday as early as I can, but it may be late afternoon before I can make it. I'll be at the Holiday Inn. I plan on riding to the campground Thursday evening to see what's up. I'm not on the RAN, but my current cell# is 706 464-5187. The cell reception is really spotty out there, so I may not be able to get the call... depending. God, I just want to leave work before I explode... |
