I saw that bike too while searching in the Triumph store for a Thruxton...they didn't have one...cool looking I guess..for a show bike.

Ok, is one side of the V the piston, and the other side is the Tranny?

That's crazy! Wonder if it's good for anything?!

The sprocket brake disk is cool too.

The sprocket brake disc is all well and good up until the first time you lube the chain. Then, kiss your rear brake "Good bye!"

BWAHAHA!

I figured brake heat would be the problem with that setup... I didn't even think about the chain lube!

If it isn't overlubed and runny, then the lube can only be slung away from the braking surface. It isn't a bad design, just less idiot-proof than the standard rig.

at least he has a front brake. i saw some choppers running that set up without front brakes, all good till you break a chain or belt.

and just what would breaking a chain or belt have to do with stopping that motorcycle? now if your refering to one of the trans breaks, thats a diff story..... but that bike does not have the break mounted to the trans, its on the swingarm....
