So I went to the dealership to order new tank emblems today. I really want carbon fiber ones, but after much time looking I couldn't find any. I ended up deciding between a "graphite black" and "brushed black chrome". Anybody have pictures of these? Or maybe a part number for real carbon fiber ones if buell makes them???? | ||

Well, that's what I was hoping for. Since apparently nobodies heard of it, I went ahead and ordered a set. If they're more black than chrome, I'll take them, and they'll be on my yellow Cyclone for Badness. If they're just plain chrome (or close enough) I'll swap them out for the graphite black badges. | ||

Hmmm.. Take a look at my profile pic. I've got the 'black chrome' ones from one of the tuber years on my bike.. Oh, wait.. go to http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/43/ 46663.html?1073932529 and take a look.. I posted some shots of my bike and there's a halfway decent shot of the tank badge.. I think the 'brushed' version is from the later XB's and had the word 'Lightning' in it, so I opted for the ones I used. Hope that helps.. (Message edited by BluBlak on March 07, 2007) | ||
