Of course I'll join in.
It awful if you've seen the pictures of the school.
Odie's son was very lucky indeed.
Our hearts go out to all the families.

Hey Rich. Thanks much for the kind thoughts. Our little town got tore up pretty good today. We are fortunate that only his car was messed up. Here's a post that I made on the Sponsor Board and XBoard. Thanks again for the best wishes. Others wern't so lucky.....

Well, this is a sad way to make the headlines but on Foxnews.com our 16 year olds high school is shown totally devastated by tornadoes that ripped thru here a few hours ago. Our son rode it out in the school. His car was trashed in the parking lot. The tornado missed us by about 1/2 mile at our pet supply store. There are emergency crews from all over the state here helping. Nine people in the school have died and more are trapped still.

Needless to say I will be out of commission for a few days helping cleanup and waiting for power to come back on at the shop. If you are expecting a pipe or barriers, etc. from me I ask you to have a little patience.

Thanks much, Odie.

Glad you and yours made it through. The boy's car is just sheet metal after all...

Thanks, everyone, for your kind words. I'm going to try to post a few pics tonight after work. The TV isn't showing where the real destruction occurred here. There are over 700 houses destroyed or damaged. There are hundreds of folks without homes. Fortunately we live in a very close-knit community so things are happening rapidly. FEMA is here and every State Trooper in the state I think. There are rescue crews from 4 different states helping out. Ft. Rucker has sent tons of help. People are donating stuff like crazy, including blood. We heard on the radio they needed dog and cat food so we loaded up the truck and donated alot from the store. We consider ourselves very lucky considering our son was in the school and the tornado passed within a half mile of us at the store. Life is short......live it to the fullest.....

On another note. Things are settling down here work/life-wise so I should be cranking out product again starting tomorrow. I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I'll be getting your orders out to you as soon as I possibly can. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers....

Odie, I just looked at your profile & I'm trying to reconcile it with I should be cranking out product again starting tomorrow.andWe heard on the radio they needed dog and cat food so we loaded up the truck and donated a lot from the store. Do you air drop pet food for a living?

Seriously, I hope things get back to normal quickly for you, we don't get any extreme weather here, worst that happens is a bit of flooding now & again, but that generally only affects stoopid people who build houses for the view without checking the land first.

Good luck, to you folks there, I hope you find all the comfort that you need, and the rebuilding is quick.

Truly a beautiful part of the country, I envy you, if I could find work there I would move in a heart beat. I was down there in January to move my daughter home from Ozark.

Best wishes

One of the folks at our congregation here in MD, Enterprise is where his sister lives and their congregation lost a young girl in the disaster.

May the Lord continue to be with and watch over all those whom have been hurt by these losses.
