I'm upset and scared. Could i ask you guys and gals to say a prayer for my wife and unborn baby. She is in Albany Medical Center waiting to give birth to our unborn baby by this thursday which is 9 weeks premature. Well enough typing i have to finish getting everything my wife asked for and get back to the hospital. I know they are in the best hands they could ever be in, But please say a prayer for them.

Thanks, Paul

Paul,

My son and I have just offered prayers for you, your wife, and baby.

Keep the faith and be courageous for them. God be with you.

Sincerely,
Patrick and Paul

Me too Paw. A baby's arrival is scary enough without any complications. We're all praying for the best for all 3 of you.

If this helps, my girlfriend was born 12 weeks early, and just think of how much better medical care is now compaired to then. We now have 2 healthy children together, and she is in great health. My two kids were also early. My daughter who is now 2 and a half was 4 weeks early, and my 1 year old son was 5 weeks early. My daughter is so smart that it is scary, and both of my kids are never sick.

My kids where also impatient and did not want to wait. Our 15 year old son was born 12 weeks early. Like Eboos said, there have been huge advancements since then. He weighed 1 pound 10 ounces and is now as healthy as they come. Our 3 year old daughter was also early and came home at just 3 pounds. The last one, 6 months old now was only a week early. We didnt know how to act.

Good luck and let us know how everyone is doing!

Paul
Good thoughts and prayers on the way.
The field of neonatal care has advanced tremendiously in the past few years.
To some of the experts in the field, a 9 week premie is a regular days work.
These folks are the best of the best.

Please keep us posted.

We'll say our prayers, as we are expecting also, on week 15 right now. 9 weeks is early, but still developed enough to life a very healthy life. I am sure everything will be fine, and just think, you'll get to meet your little one earlier than expected, that in itself is a blessing - maybe it'll be like opening your presents early! Stay positive!
