So I'm watching Nip/Tuck right now and a guest character played by Rosie O'Donnell got her ear sliced off in a public square. The culpruts looked to be a man and woman on a sportbike wearing all-black; they saw her huge diamond earring then go roaring by her on the motorcycle and the girl riding passenger cuts her ear off with a scapel. And on what bike do the killers rely upon for power and handling in getaways? A Buell Firebolt XB12R. The black and amber version made its drama tv show debut in one of the most popular shows on cable.

I saw that too. Wife even noticed it.

They didnt do the best on the sound clip, but better than some.

(arguably just as good as Buell's own commercial)

Too bad it was just a TV show.

A bad guy from Monk (season 1 or 2?) had a blue Firebolt sitting in his yard.

In a later episode, another blue 'Bolt was in a warehouse of an Asian gang.

Hmmm.....I wonder if Buell is spending marketing dollars on product placement in those shows, or if it just coincidental.
