Thanks Ebear!!!
Did Kim have the pink hat too? I remember Cindy's.

Matt - camping sounds like it was really nice. I forget where, but I think they have some yurts at a campground not far from there. I'll have to look into it for next year.

Wayne, who's talking smack now??? There might be a few riders out there with a different perspective?

For those that attended: I'm collecting notes on improvements for next year - please pm me while its fresh in your mind, and we'll see what we can do!

Thanks,

Joanne

yeah, it's a lot of first names all at once, so some cool American Sport Bike logo'd name tags would be not only helpful, but if done properly make a great keepsake. I'd pay up to $10 for an "official" one that could be used each year, and it would be like a badge of honor to show how many times you have been to it.

idea forming...

Let's say the event costs $10, and for that money you get the nametag, meal and raffle ticket. Maybe ride pins are in the future as well?

I understand the sentiment of having the FREE barbeque, being the Customer Appreciation event and all. But a small fee can really go a long way.

Once again I must thank you, Al and Joanne. I think I speak for the majority when I say you two are better than sliced bread and cordless power tools combined. Thank you for your enormous generosity. From everyone.

Name tags in any form would be a great help to us old folks who have trouble with short term memory.

According to "Barb," there WERE nametags this year - don't tell me that hussy's lying????? Seriously though, it is possible that by the time you got there (after helping Mike out), some of the people might have removed them. Of course, that doesn't explain how Wayne started the "Barb" thing (that's where it all started, Paul; its that "troublemaker" Wayne again ).

I like the idea of logo'd name tags/ride pins next year. And the $10 might help keep down the false positives, which is ever-so-helpful for the caterer. I'll put that in the suggestion box!

Thank you, Rhinowerx for your PM'd suggestions too. Much appreciated!

Joanne

Yes Kim had her pink Buell hat! She loves it!
I remember some guy from Bako there that had two or three name tags on and on not one of them did he spell his name right!
Kim told me the colored snow story before we left for home.

I too am still realing from the positivity of an event like the American Sport Bike BBQ!! Always great company, always great gifts (beyond the company), and as said before, 2 of the true hearts-and-souls of the Buelling aftermarket and support team!!

Meeting the fellow "nicks" as it were, in person sometimes for the very first time, is always a pleasure, and a GREAT laugh at times!! (cough cough Wayne cough cough), as well as many others, Terry, Rex, Todd, Jerry, oh scratch that one!!!! My bad!!!

I am looking to try and make a trip down to join at least one imfamous ASBN meeting now that I am back on the road, and before the weather goes to KAKA here in the central valley.

Always a pleasure Al and Joanne, and ALWAYS look forward to the next year!!

Bruce
