This S*cks the big one. I just found out that a friend of my from college was killed yesterday in a car acident. He was leaving the campus and was hit by another car, this totaly blows. I dont know what else to do thats why in posting here. Just need to get it all off my chest. I mean this guys was the nicest of nice would do anything for any one at the drop of a hat. to top things off the was in his 40's and going back to college to make a better living to support him self and his ageing mother. this is really screwed up.


im sorry to subject everyone to this but i just needed to vent.

It's always tough to lose a close friend.

Even worse it reminds us of our own mortality.

I understand the need to let it out. As I'm fond of telling my kids:
Life isn't fair. Fair is something that comes to town once a year with rides and midway games. Thats as close as it gets.

It sometimes seems like the nice guys finish last, but if you look around they are the people with genuine smiles on their faces.

The nice guys place more value on people and doing the right thing than in getting ahead.
I'm sure your friend was the same.

I wish you well, and you have my condolences in your grief.
