Man Daves, you and Appleton H-D/Buell must be the king of all Buell dealers.

I've never seen so much Buell stuff in one place.

I wish you were closer so I could come in and do some window shopping. I seriously doubt I could leave without buying something!

That's no excuse! I live in NC and still end up ordering "extras" since he's already shipping parts - "saves" on shipping

Not sure why you can't see them?

That tank is not for sale. It is off Hoban Brother's race bike from the Buell Lightning series back in 2000.

Butch,
Ever heard of UPS?

That's not all they include or I wounldn't buy from you.

What you failed to mention was EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE after the sale.

These are the days of the internet. I can get about anything I want within 24 hours from anywhere in the world.

Times have changed. Geographical barriers have yielded to the "new retail" that's broadened our shopping horizons.

There are (citing once again "9 Ways to Sell a Buell" from 1997) several points.

  • If you don't believe in the product and are passionate about it...stop reading. Nothing is going to save you.
  • You can't sell what you don't have. Dave played a role in a key demonstration last year by selling MOST the pink Buell hats produced.
  • Be ever mindful that the "product" is but the tip of the retail iceberg. How you follow the sale will determine your future.

Dave intrinsically knows these things. The "things" are not rocket science, executing them is.

When Dave sells something, he sets a tone, makes a friendship and sows a seed that creates a desire to buy from him again.

Pavlov (that name ring a bell?) studied classical conditioning. Dave is doing a real world demonstration.

BUELLS DONE RIGHT
