OK, guy's I have been dealing with this gentleman that goes by the name of Troy the troll for two years now. This guy has posted over 150 messages bashing Buells. Go here and see them:

http://shorl.com/stat.php?id=fyfribrefygrogry&pwd=fubogropruboprifa

LOL, Now this guy owns an SV 650 and he say's he will destroy any Buell on any track. Is there anyone from the Denver area that can meet up with Troy on the track of his choice? Perhaps any Firebolt's? Troy refers to Firebolt's as Firedud's. Troy States all Buells are slow as a stone and the engine will explode after a couple of laps. I know this is immature but, we are a couple of immature forty somethings.:-) Come on guy's smoke this guy once and for all.:-)I want to rub it in his face.

Regards

Mike

P.S. I like Troy so I wish no physical harm to come to him. A little embarrasment won't hurt him though.

Still too much damm snow on the ground.

Also, I forgot to add. Troy not only bashes Buells but, he bashes Buell riders. He says we are Dentist's or we are poser's ect. Oh, and he really like's to rip into Harley Davidson's. Check out Troy's response to a Buell guy trying to sell his X1 and i quote:

> hi all, i have a 2000 buell x1 lightning, its the red-white racing stripe, #
> 424 of only 800 produced.

Troy: Cool. Think yours is one of the 2 or 3 out of the 800 that is actually built
okay and won't fall apart the first time someone actually USES it? Have you
had all the factory recalls completed on it? Wouldn't want the front brakes
to lock up, the swingarm to break or the rear shock to explode....nasty
business, bike building.

> it has the Vance and Hines pipe, race ECM, pm aluminum wheels, lots of
> carbon fiber, steering damper.

Troy:You think the pipe gave it enough extra horsepower to require the damper?
And did you manage to get the weight under 600 pounds with the carbon fiber?

> i bought it brand new, and have abought 9000 miles on it now.
> i was thinking of selling it, i have 3 other bikes, and the insurance is
> killing me, for it to just sit in my garage.

Troy:Well, considering the reliability of the model, if anyone buys it, odds are
it'll just sit in THEIR garage. Broken this, overheated that, and when every
brill creme boy up and down the block can bury it on a 600cc machine, I mean
really, whats the point? Conversation piece?

"Yep, bought me some of them import sportbikes, and they might be fast, they
might be reliable, they might have brakes that work, but DAMN this'here
Buell does sure make a FINE doorstop!"

> its a great bike, first, second and third gear wheelies, 155 mph top end.

Now THIS I would like to see. Not the wheelies, with Eriks luck when you put
the front end back down it'll rip right off the triple clamps, but that 155
mph stuff! I mean, when the revs hit 6K and a piston comes out the side of
the block, can it REALLY continue revving to get the thing to 155?

> i have two shovels, and just got my 47 fl up, so i haven't spent much time
> on my buell lately.

Troy:THAT explains why you think its great....you are comparing it to your
HARDLEY!

> i have pics if anyone is seriously interested, not sure what i want for it,
> but its in exultant shape, i have abought 13 g in it, maybe 14.
> any how, bah ! hate to sell it.

Troy:Then don't. When the Hog self destucts, you can probably get a few more
miles out of the Buell before its recalled, or breaks. Again.

Like I said just beat him on the track not at the local cafe.:-)

Troy is a Troll, sometimes it isn't worth the effort. Has anyone actually seen the guy/gal in person? Why does TtT dislike Buells so much? Does TtT even own an SV650, or any bike for that matter, or is he/she some 14y.o. sitting at home reading magazines and having fun getting a rise out of people? Trolls live under bridges for a reason, that's the only place they don't get run over. ;) 'Course they do get wet from time to time, but then most of their ranting is all wet anyways, so throw them a charity towel and move on with life. Most likely not worth the effort. Even if TtT did show up at some track event and got spanked by someone on a Buell, TtT would just make up excuses and scream ringer and factory support and feel all superior as a result of his/her ability to actually get someone to physically take his/her bait. Like I said, not worth the effort.

But, if TtT is really interested in taking on someone on a Buell on a track in a fair/safe heads-up race, then all he/she probably has to do is to show up at some races and get his/her amateur racing license and hit the track. There's bound to be some grass roots Buell rider out there that will give him/her a run in some competitive event.

Sometimes it's the bike, oftentimes it's the rider, but when it comes to trolls it all boils down to gas and hot air. Like I said, not worth the effort. By the way, why don't you take up the challenge????? Eh? :)

Because I live many states away (WI) and have never ridden the track. I am a dirt biker at heart. Troy lives at the track. I would go if it were closer though although would love to get a few track days under my belt. TTT seems to think my bike will explode if i bring it to the track. He has met a few guy's at the track in the past.

Well he definatelly isn't a 14 y.o., and I would bet he does own a bike, just because of the knowledge in some of his statements.

I kind of agree with Fly, I had to laugh at some of the things he said. He is witty if anything, to bad he's not on our side.

Dennis also just posted a notice of a track day coming up in late August in Blackhawk if you're interested as well. Perhaps you can "bait" TtT to drive out to north central Illinois?????

Not sure if it's a licensing school or a street bike skill school or just an open track day. I posted some links after Dennis' post but didn't read them much.

Send the troll over to talk to Aaron Wilson... That ought to get his jaw to drop...
Tell him Aaron is really into Suzuki's and then when he gets to Aaron's shop he won't be able to speak... let alone rip on Buells and Buelligans.

Here is Troy's latest statement about Buell riders and I quote:

"Yep...for some reasons incompetents gravitate towards Buells. I wonder why?
Can't handle decent machinery so they run toward something slow and
unintimidating?"

Also he asked me and I quote "Ask around for anyone who regularly runs a Buell at Thursday
night bike nights at Second Creek, and give'em my email."

Here is his email address: f4boy@attbi.com

He's right about that. I mean some clown claiming his Buell has a top speed of 155 & we arent exactly talking about FMJ or Aaron here.

Let him talk all he wants, why does it bother you?

Is this an apples to apples comparison? I don't believe a stock SV650 will do 155 any more than a Buell X1 will (rev limiter and gearing should stop it at about 137mph in theory).
I do know I have gained weight since buying my Buell, do to the lack of shifting and relaxed riding, compared to my CBR600 F3.
I ride with a group consisting of a ZX1200R, a Ducati 900 SS and me and my X1 and I am often the first one up the hill.

Sounds like he needs to get his head out his ass and actaully ride a Buell. Now I am off to ride the V-Rod I have for the night before work tomorrow.

Come on! His name is Troy the troll!?!

Here's a definition for a troll:

An Internet "troll" is a person who delights in sowing discord on the Internet. He (and it is usually he) tries to start arguments and upset people.

Here is a good link for information on trolls.
