are incredible, or maybe it's just the exchange rate. Regardless, was wondering what you's were paying for service (you's that go to the dealership/service center). I recently scheduled my 1K service and was quoted 200-250 Euro (around 4hrs she said), minus 16% for VAT. Seems a little high in my opinion.

I am going to have a race kit installed as well, would it be best (cheaper) for me to have them install the kit during the 1K service? Looking to save a few bucks somewhere in this deal... maybe installing parts of the kit myself in the parking lot (i know it had been discussed).

Besides the TPS Reset I should be able to perform everything myself; but in avoiding the dealership will this effect my warranty?

Here at my dealer we charge around $270 for a 1k service. I work in parts so don't quote me on that, I just ask the questions. Your race kit should be cheaper to put on at the dealer in most cases since they have the bike on the lift anyway. To save the most money, put the pipe and filter on first, ride to the dealer, swap ECM's then have the TPS reset. Most people here do that to save on labor, and i don't think it voids your warranty. Check with your local dealer to see what they say. Since your overseas I'm not sure how they translate. Hope this helps.

Every little bit helps.
I think there is only one person there that speaks english so I'll just swap everything out myself.

we charge 145.00 if you buy the bike from us and pay for it in the deal.
I think it is still under 200.00 if you don't

It should save you some $$ by having them do the service and race kit install at the same time

if you install the pipe and air cleaner first, dont let them charge you for a tps reset... (its part of a 1k serv)
