It's a fundamental lack of respect for anyone else that leads to this kind of B.S.

I'm glad you were able to get your bike back. It could have been worse. Sounds like
you have either just one, or more likely a pack of punk kids running around your neighborhood
looking for trouble. I'd keep my eyes open...they usually hang in the same areas.

This kind of crap is one of the reasons i moved back from San Diego to small town
Missouri. Here grafitti is a front page crime, and someone always sees who did what!
I'd rather sweat than bleed, wouldn't you?
White is definitely the FASTEST color Buell.

Well, there have been alot of issues, in teh complex lately, adn the managment, all they say, is park under/ in the light...

Well, both times somethign has happened to MY stuff, you couldnt park in a mroe well lit place..

My bike WILL be parked on my front stoop, period. If the management, continues to has issue with it...

It says clearly in teh lease, NOT to park bikes, on our patios, or frotn walk...but, I dont really have much choice now...

I am greatfully none of the carbon fiber took any damage...THIS time...

So, this is somethign I dont have an issue losing a lease over...

I there isnt much I can do about it now...but that is beside the point...

Its not like I even had the money to fix the problem I am currently having...NOW, I gotta buy NEW bars again, and aquire a new clutch lever...

I know you ride aggressively, and the angle they give would be similar to clip ons...

Get an alarm, at least it will wake you up when they take it off the kickstand, and let you catch them in the act...

SO, on that note, Andrew, I will send you a PM...

Thank you all...this was just an easy way for me to rant, instead of taking it out on SOMEONE....

I will forward my new address, as the one you have, ISNT the same..

If it doesnt work, I will send it back to ya...

I mean, shouldnt cost much to ship a clutch lever..(and yeah, the one on the bars...)

PM on the way

Well, they werent able to get any prints... the DA wont accept any prints from teh outside of a vehicle, or off a motorcycle, as, anyone could touch it, bump it, lean against, it..etc

So..for now, just keeping the bike at the front door, the h*ll with the managment.. they wont pay for my stuff....

So...

Again, thank you all, that are lending a hand... It all comes back..

I am sending Grant(TSIspyder) some parts for his bike in Japan, to help get him back on the road...

And hooking Prez up with his problem as well..

Thats one reason why I love this community..everyone is willing to help us young, broke guys stay on the road...

Thank you all....

Oh, adn the wife appreciates all the help too, as it isnt making us even more broke trying to keep the money pit on the road...

Hmmm, thought of a new paint scheme, if I ever put plasitc bakc on in place of the carbon fiber...

Chase:
I saw a couple of alarms on e-bay a while back if one comes up would you use one like that?

I came out from my office late one nite, a bunch of shti head punks had torn up the steering collumn on my car. I guess I spooked em as near as I could tell

I know that it sucks bro keep the sled on the porch, if the LL starts handing you crap, ask them if they will be responcible for damages if not it stays where it is,( or They can break the lease [ loss of revinue ]
I keep mine chained in the court yard in front of my door give them the option, the bike stays where its safe or I leave,

when Im on the road like now its in the kitchen,

Dog, yeah, I am going straight to NavyLegal tomorrow, and tlak to them, WITH my lease, and BOTH police reports...

Going to tlak to them, about my options..and see what they say, i am going to look on here later, for houses for rent, WITH A GARAGE, after Mia heads to work...

The only place I can chain the bike to, is the light pole, where I kept the bike AND my truck parked..but, all that would do, is p*ss them off more, and they would SMASH the thing next time...

So...

But yeah, the LL is going to be hearing from me about 3 or 4 pm local time, hopefully armed with a Jag Officer : )

My LL, Sandy, SHE seems to have an issue with me in general...(I hang out with my maintnance guy here, and was thus informed)..The will provide signed statements...

I HATE to deal with this like this, but I haev had nothing but problems with her since the signing of the lease..plus, she gives my wife LOTS of grief...

Anyway

But, for the alarm, I am looking for something that will active teh horn AND make the lights flash..and once I get around to accent ligths...it shoudl attract ALOT of attention if set of...: )

If you for some screwed up reason you can't keep the bike on the patio, have you thought about parking a van & using it as a mini garage for the bike?

I saw a guy do that here in Nor Cal. He didn't have a garage so he stripped out his old van, got a ramp & kept his bike in it.

On edit: He pulled the coil wire & drained the gas tank so it couldn't be stolen.

I have thought about the van route for a while, as I usually live in an apartment(dont make much money in teh navy)..

But, again, that takes money...it has to be legal adn road worthy, as you need valid tags, inspection, and insurance on the complex properties here...period.

But, at the rate they are breaking into vehciles here, it wouldnt make a difference..

Dog, she is just a manager, and no, I amnot tearing anything up.

I have even soken with the neighbors, they dont care, I push the bike all the way up the walk, so, as far as they are concerned, as long as they dont hear it... Its mostly hidden from veiw anyway. It aitn even leaking at the moment..: )

I am going to let JAG deal with this one, BUT, the office IS going to get a heads

So, tomorrow shoul dbe interesting to say the least. Trin has to go to the Doc's tomorrow, I am HOPING she just has heat rash(my a/c here dont work worth the crap either, as my 200+ dollar light bill will atest to), and not chicken pox..if it isnt one thing, its another..

Oh well...another day tomorrow... though I coudl really use a change of luck..hahaha..}

Oh man, that sucks. Here I was thinking a cheap ugly Van that some one's just dying to get off their hands. Something that could be registered & insured but nothing that would ever need to be driven long distance.

I hope all goes well tomorrow. I'll be sending all the good vibes I can your way. : )

I just need to hit the lottery...

Buya huge plot of land, build a race track...and build a house for my self inthe infeild : )

But seriously, this isnt something just I have to deal with, its just the nature of the beast... Though, i will say this, I am not one to stand aside, and take a bunch of crap from some property company..

They WILL yeild, or lose revenue as Dog said, as I am sure, that the navy will assist me in breaking a lease if needed, without repercussions.. just need to worry about aquiring a house...

Dealt with some pissy property managers in the past.

It is a mind numbing thing to go through. Had to deal with it when the M2 was stolen in detroit. Property managers were completely useless following that.

Well, they are gonna let me keep the bike on teh patio....

But, I cant hget it on the patio...

Ok, they are moving the gate..to allwo me access to the patio.

They are also gonna let me put up a piece of canvas or something as an awning..keep my dry when trying to smoke, adn he;lp further conceal the bike...

So, everyone one wins...

Though, I am still without a bike for the moment.

I'm sure someone has one you can borrow. Start a thread asking to borrow it.
(on edit: oops you already did that!)

What else do you need to get it back together? or is all that already covered?

Also, I'm glad they are making it possible to keep the bike on your patio and helping
with the awning. Sounds like they are afraid of you riders getting together and
making trouble for them.
