Most any of the slip-ons seem to work well if the bike is properly tuned. The Buell pro series for the stock header is good, the D&D is good. I'd go more for reliability and durability in a slip-on. If you don't mind loud the Force pipe or race kit header/muffler are great performers. Check out all the charts in the Knowledge Vault - Dyno Charts section. You'll be able to get a better idea of what you might want.

Most of the slip-ons seem to work fine, for relative moderate costs. -that's with race-ignition, I presume; got an x1- All of the slip-ons seems to crack their front exhaust brackets, though.

For all-out performance You'll want the pro-series, it's pretty expensive. It never cracked it's front bracket yet. -15.000 kms-
Scorpion I had broke it's bracket four times in 2.000 kms.

You'll have to ask Yourself what You'd want to spend and, what's more important, if there are any plans for more engine-tuning in the future?

J.

Tripp,

Precisely why I chose to stay away from the CF. I have the Vance & Hines Aluminum Can and has not failed me yet - apart from having to re-pack it.

BrianBuell,
Give me a call and I'll hook you up with whatever you decide on. I'll be in and out this weekend(have a sport show to do) so email me or leave a message on my voice mail.
All the choices above are good advise.
The new Pro series from Buell is very durable, tuneable and list for 359.99, less your Badweb 10% discount of course.

Ride to the edge!

The Dyno installer, for Dynojet??or there sub, said that the buell race kit was the best as per his dyno runs, he said all the other ones do little to nothing, and that for true performance stick with the buell parts and a trainded dynojet
tuner, he also mentioned the white bros as being a good pipe, but the buell race was the best

I'm supposed to see 50 sat 60 sun! Put a aluminum V&H on my 01 M-6 and have beat the hell out of it for at least 6000 or so with out a problem. To repack get one of those Silent Sport packings from ASB they seem to last longer to me.

i bought it used with the performance mods intact,
so far the only techy thing i did was add the tach
everything else was cosmetic...
