I just noticed that the right hand side doesn't even have one with these pilot powers installed where as the left hand side one is about 1/2 inch wide. I posted a while ago here just the opposite with the dunlop d208(s). I wonder if the pilot powers are radiused less or I'm driving into the corners harder with these tires.

Kenb, Only you can answer that one...........

My rear tire never has chicken strips of any kind after 50 miles or so. I save 1/8 an inch on the front for on the streets.

I do run the left side of my tires harder on the streets though. It will suck getting off but getting off while going through a right hand turn means oncoming traffic...........

Most people prefer to turn left, on a motorcycle anyway.

Could be a flatter profile tire, as you said.
