I was cleaning my bike the otherday and I noticed some small spots of rust on my performance exhaust. Does anyone know a way to get them off before they grow?

on the can or the header tubes? if headers, a lil Scotchbrite (tm, patent pending, close cover b4 striking) will do the trick

I had to wire brush and sand down my D&D. Repainted it with Rust proof paint. Perhaps the downside of having an under slung muffler in the rain.
