With claimed top speeds of 50 mph., I'd want bigger brakes than what come on it, other than that it looks to be a great alternative. | ||

I guess I don't get hydrogen power. Does that have an internal combustion engine? Or an electric motor? The description is a little vague other than just dropping a hydrogen power pack in. Jack | ||

The fuell cel combines the Hydrogen with Oxygen to make water. It does this without a flame of any kind. It generates electricity and that is used on an electric motor. The biggest selling point of this hydrogen deal is that the Hydrogen can be produced from a large amount of methods. Most simple: split up water with electricty The electricity would have to come from somewhere though. It's still not as cheap as dino-juice. Think of how many MPG you could get with a 50cc four-stroke. It would be lighter than the fuel-cell bike too. A gallon of gas weighs 6 pounds. Don't get me wrong! I love new technology. It's just not yet ready for primetime. I read that they are able to make fuelcells that use alcohol instead of Hydrogen. | ||

Using all of these rechargable batteries may not be such a good idea, the metals that go into them when they are worn out, are difficult to reclaim, how much nickle or cadmium ro make all of those batteries, the fuel cells if they when worn out can be reclaimed or overhauled better, we need to think about what problems are being generated by our solutions.. both ideas are cool though. I like the fuel cell | ||

I like the fuel cell power module more than I like the bike. Looks like a good backup power supply. |
