That should be a new olympic sport, contested for height and distance. It could be a Summer and Winter event. For Winter put it atop a snow covered mountain and put a snowboard on their feet, aim them at the half-pipe.

I was looking at the netting on the bed they lay on for the launch. I was thinking it would be real inconvenient if you got tangled up on any of that as the thing went up and the lines slacked.

It would be interesting know what the pull down was on the launch, the peak altitude, and the G forces involved.

I would do it in a second flat. Due to the spread of the "launch" poles the harness would open right up. I don't see any problems with getting stuck. Most people "White out" at five or six g's so it has to be less. As for peak altitude my guess is 600 feet. I base that on the time it takes for the chute to open and land.

Say what you want about the French but I have spent a lot of time there and they know how to have fun! if anyone got in that thing, got hurt and tried to sue the French court would throw the case out faster than we here in the U.S. would believe.
