JB2, i'm the guy that tried to sell you the very same heated gear i used on this trip (all my like-new one-year-old Widder stuff), which worked PERFECTLY (i'm switching over to a full Gerbing set-up). i know you're a stud and all, but i'll bet you $100 of your favorite coffee that just one 2700-mile ride in truly cold weather with full heated gear and you'd never go back to your Carhartt's! I noticed there is a couple of pix's missing. No ride is complete with Ferris with out a visit from the local law enforcemnet in that area! These shots were taken on Tuesday as Ferris was passing through Vancouver heading north to see Ma Bueller. That day, for 70 miles, I think it would have been better to have a boat instead of a motorcycle. It rained so heavy at times, the cars were throwing a 2 1/2 foot wake as they went down the road!   With all joking aside, I want to say thanks to "D" for letting us borrow Ferris for part of the weekend. Shel and I hope we can get to see you soon! To Court for helping me out. If it wasn't for Court, I wouldn't have been able to make the ride on Saturday. And Ferris, thanks so much for your friendship, its was great to be able to cut a groove beside you again, brought back many great memories and and added some new ones! LONG LIVE JAVANABA! Dino good idea! I have been through several serious blizzards on sport bikes and it has never been a problem. Just take it slow and easy. Although I did swap ends on the Buell all the way down a hill the other day. It was a long hill and I will not leave the beast in first gear and figure I can let the engine do the braking again anytime soon......... | ||
