That wasnt negative at all. I bet your rims do look great. But what would you expect the guy to say? Its kinda like asking mobil what brand oil you should use, or go to a Ford dealer & ask if Fords are any good:D

Hey Dyna I don't want to come across to you like a prick but it seems you don't have to much good to say to alot of people around here.So don't come around me bashing on me.I'm excited about getting my wheels back.Besides its nice that the company calls their customers to let them know their parts are on there way to them and reasuring them they turned out great. So chill out DYNA its called just good business

Now hold on here just a goddamn minute. I have not been bashing anyone or anything for quite some time. I have been more than helpful & like to have a little fun.

I didnt bash you at all. I dont know where in the hell you got that idea but go back & reread what I wrote. Show me something where I am talking bad about people.

Its exactly this kind of bullshit that keeps people from joining certain things. Well that & the fact you have to deal with cliques & who the fuck has time for that?

I come here for a good time & to converse with a few folks I know. I actually like you & thought you could take some very mild kidding. Sorry, I obviously misjudged you.

I can't believe nobody has had the balls to ask him if he thinks his Buell is a Harley.

CHROME=Poser Bike!!

Chrome is for Harleys, Billet and Carbon Fiber are for Buells!!!

Two things:

1. Dyna, I don't know what has gotten into you, but you are different than you used to be. You are for lack of a better description, nicer. Not saying I didn't like you before, but I have neen noticing. No explaination needed really. I also found nothing in your posts in this thread that was more than a "needle", but like someone has said, sometimes it's tuff to get exactly what a person is trying to say in this limited form of communication. On my planet, we use mental telepathy and ride Royal Enfields...except for me, which is why the Galactic Counsel had me exiled...because I ride an X1. But I digress...

2. I do not really like chrome. Polished aluminum is my favorite finish for bike parts. I deal with all types of metals in my business, and I just love the polished aluminum look. I would rather have that on a bike than chrome.

I wonder if Joe is gonna attend any this year. His fall at last years lakefront event really upset him & he was done. Didnt attend the last 2 or 3 events.

Brent, I believe Aaron did a dyno test that showed the chromed wheels only added 4hp. It was the torque that really took off tho. The chrome allowed the wheels to spin much easier, less friction with the air:D

Dyna,
Met a girl named Kat at the 2000 Buell Homecoming. During the morning BattleTrax practice she ground a set of Kuriakin footpegs, on her Dyna, down to the center stud. She had to replace them with her forward pegs. She said she does that all the time. Watch out! She might be there.

Very cool, I hope she is there. I love having competition.

I ground the passenger peg on the right side of my Dyna thru the mounting bolt....oh wait, thats when it was spinning & sliding on its side down I-94 at 50 mph.

Last year I used my Dyna just as a demo deal during practice laps. I didnt do any final competition on it, saved that for the X1. Anyways I ground the shit outta my pipes the whole way around the course. Woulda looked pretty cool if it had been dark out, nice spark show.

New pipes now & they are a different style, shouldnt drag unless the bike is on its side again.

Uhhhhhhh,

Glad I read this every now and then.

DYNA,

for the Battletrax record:
I'm lucky when I'm even in town because of work, let alone making it up into Wis. The crash you were referring to was probably one of the most mild ones I've been through and certainly didn't rattle me. The most painful aspect of that day was paying for the new "disposable" shift lever.

(thanks again for all the help guys- you know who you are...)

Plan on seeing me this summer ready to grind it again. Only exceptions will be when work calls, cause work pays for the bike, blah blah blah.

I just want to retire...

I checked on getting my fork tubes chromed by the same outfit & the prices is $70 a piece. Thats a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the Harley ones for close to $300. Did you have to degrease your wheels or anything before you sent them out?
