Any computer geeks out there?

I am replacing my home desktop computer after 8 years of faithful service. The HDD is still good, so I got an external drive enclosure so I can use the 10 GB drive for extra storage from the new laptop. Anyway, I accidentally deleted (and dumped from the recycle bin) some spreadsheet files I'd like to have back. I got 3 of 5 files back by using a shareware program for just this purpose, but it is not working with the other 2 files. One is the maintenance/upgrade log for my XB9S; the other is the maintenance log for my pickup; so it is not a matter of life or death. The pickup log is listed in the recovery program but the file is corrupted when it is recovered; the XB file isn't even listed.

Just wondered if there are any tricks of the trade to try before giving up.

Thanks,
Bill

http://www.recover4all.com/

It ain't cheap, but it works and works good.
Can even find and recover previous versions of files.

I tried several others and finally had to pony up purchase Recover4all because they simply did not work or not nearly as well...

Thanks, Midknyte.

I'll try the evaluation version to see if my files show up.
