Dyna: Thanks, dude, I thought I had the only messy garage on the badweb! I was about to go out and clean it up, but your pics made me feel better!

My cubby hole.

Timbo's Garage

I figure with a little re-aranging I've still got room for an S1. Convincing the wife will be more difficult.

Nice garages, all.
A little tip though...not a good idea to keep those helmets in the garage with the bikes.
The fumes from the gas tanks will eventually eat away at the foam inside!! Not good.

Proof: Take a whiff inside your lid after it sits for a day or two in the garage...

Just a "heads up" (pun intended)

So here I am . . thinking I was going to start restoring and old Chevy . . . and somehow there's now 2 S1's in my garage! :]
Guess my direction went astray somewhere . . ?!?

Socal . . . you get much trouble from the constabulary on the plate mounting on that silver S1?

Actually they don’t bother me that much! It surprised me as well, I rode the red S1 like that for about 6 or 7 months and had the fuzz directly behind me on about 3 or 4 occasions, and they didn't bat an eye! It's just temporary anyways. . I'll relocate it soon!

Here's what a true motorcycle nuts home shop looks like after having been Rid'n and Wrench'n for over 30 years.
Shop1

The S2 being prepared for Hotrodding after 50,000 km all stock , except for a Vance & Hines slip on.

Shop2

No matter what your level of experience a good selection of shop manuals is a necessity.

Shop3

Some machinery helps get the job done.

It's small , it's tidy and lot's happens here .

Shop5

Current tooling allows me to deck heads on the lathe as well as cut chambers for domed pistons. Valve jobs , porting and various other machining operations .

Shop6

This face plate is a copy of a popular machine attachment (expensive) that is specifically designed for Harley heads , this one was built right here. A great deal of time is spent in "the man space" making / modifying parts , tools etc.

Jeff,
Your having a shop like that is just another reason to be hostile towards Canadians.....I'm jealous.

The newest addition to my Buell garage...

New XR50 for the boys

I know, I know, it's not a Buell, but hey, I'm grooming future Buellers. Right?
