O4 sporty's are the rubber mounted motor and while it looks like it may fit it won't

It's not going to be fun in about 5-20 years looking at swap meets for old XL/Buell parts.

The bolt pattern and gasket are the same. Buells are also rubber mounted.

Yes, but trust me it won't fit. There is a little matter of the timing. On the 04 sporty's it is moved down and to the left and there is no timing plate in a 04 sporty, it's timing is ran off of a crank sensor...

It won't fit.

I was wrong, Spiderman is right. The book I checked didn't show inside where the pick up is.
