thank you Petel.

my emotions right now are all over the place, and i hope that peace-loving people EVERYWHERE on this planet tomorrow can take a moment to savor the sweet taste of freedom and the crisp, clear breath of life.

my thoughts are with the victim's families; may they find comfort somewhere, somehow, in all of this.

thank you again Petel, your thoughtfulness is very much appreciated.

At the appropriate moment today 1.46, the hundreds and hundreds of people in the workforce of the organisation I work for, which covers a substantial portion of Northern Scotland, will offically cease work to observe a minute's silence in memoriam. This will be marked at start and finish by the sounding of a firebell. There will be special church services in many places, and remembrance ceremonies carried out by Fire Service personnel and many others. We will ALL be silent and thoughtful, and sad.

Steve/Petel/John

thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers . . .mine are also with those who were directly affected (most all of us were in-directly affected, yes?) -- the support from from overseas has been astounding -- the US, I believe, has joined much of the rest of the world in being affected by this kind of political/economic/religious sickness . . . it's also reminded me of how small a placec the planet really is

my employer has asked all of it's folks (locations world-wide)to observe three minutes of silence in rememberance at noon local . . .

bless us all

Thanks to all of you everywhere who take time to remember this horrific day.

The senseless loss of lives on this day will never be forgotton...truly the world has changed in so many profound ways.

Here's hoping that everyone everywhere is close to those they love, close enough to extend a hand and touch them...to wrap your arms around them and hold them closer still to your heart. Life is to precious to pass so quickly.

Please remember that a world away from our eyes and ears is engulfed in war. Soldiers from many nations are on the firing line, risking life and limb to protect our most cherished institutions and our way of life from those who are working actively to destroy them. They need our thoughts and prayers also.

While we remember our fallen heroes, husbands, wives, daughters, sons, lovers and friends, remember that we live in the free nations on this planet. Cherish those freedoms and do something to protect and preserve your freedoms and promote freedom where it is not.

God bless America, may freedom forever reign.

thanks to you all...

i don't post much but i do read daily (if i can) and think of my buell in storage alot :)

anyway, being deployed, my perspective is a bit different than it was last year. i think of the "average joes" back home and what we are fighting for.

the words were few in coming today; no one had to remind us over here what happened. keep the faith and here's one soldier that appreciates all that you have written today.

good night

...and here's one soldier that appreciates all that you have written today.

and here's one civilian that appreciates the sacrifices made by people like yourself, Philip, so that i may enjoy my many freedoms.

please express my thanks to your comrades; please know that none of you are taken for granted.

i concur with Mr. Giusto: i appreciate all that you have written today.

Those bastards can run but we'll bomb the livin' shit out of 'em. :-) A year ago it was shock ... a year later it's resolve.

9/11/01 I was giving a deployment pep talk to about 20 new airmen that had been in the Air Force scarcely a year. From a glass enclosed room we saw the CNN coverage of the WTC as it unfolded. I don't recall what I said but I'm sure it wasn't 'professional'. My planned trip to the national Buell event at Deal's Gap was traded off for more important events. This year though its go time. :)

Remember ... others have said it already and some of our fellow Buellers are living it. We have many ... MANY away from home watching the fence line and tracking those bastards down.

Time to watch for my daughter's school bus... a bar-b-que later , ice cream, and a ride on the Buell. :)

.... oh ... and that web site RacerBoy posted! hahaha
