There are good dealers out there. The one I'm going to talk to you about is Harley-Davidson/Buell of Bloomington, Ind. Recently myself and some other Buell riders from the Indianapolis area got together with Buell of Bloomington to re-ignite the BRAG group there. The reasons we chose to go with this dealer are many, but what it boils down to is that they are enthusiastic about Buells and the level of customer service in ALL the departments is AWSOME. Everyone there is very friendly and I have never, ever had a bad experience. To the contrary, its always been better than I expected. I rode down to Bloomington from Indy on Saturday, intending to talk to the Motorclothes department about buying some Vanson/Buell leather. It was about 55 degrees out when I rode down, and all I was wearing were jeans, two long sleeve shirts, my Vanson Ventmax 2 shirt, helmet and gloves. I had been told by one of the motorclothes girls that they had some Vanson coming in so I was hoping to catch it before it hit the rack. Well, it wasn't there and the person I had talked to about it had the day off. Darn. I talked to another employee (Tracie, really nice girl) about it and we took some measurements. I picked up a part that I had ordered and was just generally killing time hoping it would warm up a bit before I left because I had froze my butt off on the way down. I ran across the owner of the dealership (Jeff Stevens, owns four Buells himself) and we chatted for a few minutes. I mentioned why I was there and my experience on the way there. He IMMEDIATELY offered me the use of his own, personal FXRG jacket. I was knocked for a loop! The guy practically offered me the shirt off his back! Literally! I jumped at the offer. Now I'm being somewhat paranoid making sure nothing bad happens to the jacket! We have a BRAG meeting this Saturday so I'll be returning it to him then, and hopefully buying or ordering something else. In case anyone is curious about the FXRG, its very nice. Very warm and snug. Not sure I like it much for riding my Firebolt as it's hard to keep my head up (the collar pushes my helmet forward) although it could be because it has the liner in it and it's not a perfect fit. Otherwise all the little pockets and everything are very handy. |

I agree! We are very lucky to have a dealer as good as them around here!! I have had nothing but great dealings with them. |
