Im considering going to the pocono mountain adventure august 23-25. I was wondering if anyone in or around pittsburgh is going...if so, wanna meet up for the ride? It looks like it gonna be alot of fun! this will be my first buell related adventure... Jason | ||

and by the way, for those going, anyone have any ideas about lodging? Ive never been to the poconos but i will probably want to camp out... anyone camping? | ||

you should also consider going to the deals gap regional adventure on Sept 13-15. Excellent roads, scenery, and buellers!!!! check it out on Buell's web page and also here listed under Deals Gap Deja vu'. Did my first buell related adventure there lastyear! thats why I m going back!  Keith | ||

If my bike is running by that time I'll be going, I live about 120 miles east of Pittsburgh between Bedford and Breezewood. I'll let you know for sure closer to departure time. Justin | ||

Hey Jason, I am leaving from Chicago, stopping in Pittsburg area at my brothers to stay overnight and departing from there either Thursday or Friday to ride to Pocono event. I've also reserved a room at Pocono Manor hotel Friday-Monday (I will attend track day on Monday). So, if you are interested in riding to/from Pittsburg area or interested in staying at hotel and sharing expense (two beds @ $40 each person per night) let me know. Fly, Im not sure about the hotel yet, I have to talk it over with my girl. She likes to camp too so we will probably do that but a shower or 2 would be cool!!!haha lest us get too stinky... mabye we can get a couple of people wanting to ride together, its a long trip. my girl will probably bring up the rear (no puns here) in the minivan of doom. (we went to NY last month on the sportster (her longest ride with me so far) and she vowed never to ride with me again...she doesnt like speed...she will get used to it) anyway, if all goes as planned, some people can toss a bag or 2 in the van to lighten their rides a little... were still making arrangements with work, will know soon though... gravedigger, id LOVE to go to deals gap, i dont think i can make it to both, bet im thinking about it... |
