My son earned the priveledge of having a Honda CRF100F dirt bike a few weeks ago by deporting himself like a gentleman and generally showing maturity. This bike is a reward and a vehicle towards greater maturity. Well today was the day. He rode today at Carnegie off road park. Had the time of his life. We worked on smooth clutch release, throttle control while underway in gear, shifting from 1st to 2nd and back again, and at the end of the day I had him in third gear. He has never ridden a motorcycle before, and I can tell you he is well on his way. I got a lot more of this in the future. I had as great a time teaching him and watching as I did riding. Yes, he did dump the bike, but was not discouraged one bit! That brand new bike needed some scratches, anyway. |

Glad to hear that you're getting the next generation interested. I'm going to be getting my oldest a PW-50 in a few months and then the fun will begin. Have fun |

That's great. How old is your son? I wonder who was more excited, you or your boy? |

My son will be 13 in about a week. I gotta say, that teaching him and seeing how satisfied he was to be riding, I was more excited. I can't explain what it meant to me to do this for my son. A great experience for us both. |
