The adjuster did'nt total my bike, just $ 4,600 worth of damage. After finding that out, I scrambled to get parts. Actually, I assumed they would'nt total it after talking to the ins. adjusters even though it was'nt official. So I took a gamble and bought some parts. I needed to get my bike together for Danbury's Buell day! I really did'nt want to miss out on any riding. We still have plenty of good weather! My luck came thru when Mike called to see how I was doing. No broken bones, lots of aches and pains. I told him I needed a tail section for my S. He happened to know where one was! He said Kevin converted a bike for a friend. I called Kevin and he said it was his friend Joe tail section. Kevin called Joe. he brought it in to Kevin the next day before he went out of town! Joe even thew in a t-shirt from a poker run! He also said good luck with putting my bike back together. He's been thu that. Kevin boxed it up rite away and had it to me the next day!! He did all that so I could ride this weekend.... While talking to Kevin, I found out he painted Tilley's 95 VR 1000 that I saw at Daytona during the races! I can't say enough about mike and Kevin's hospitality. I'd like to make a run down there and see them and ride the dragon. Anyone feel like doing that in the fall?

Frame swap over the winter. Who knows what will happen at the next track day!
