Looking some suggestions for a 2-3 day trip bouncing around in the Birkshires. Friend from Boston coming down and I am coming up from NJ to meet there. Suggestions for roads, places for food etc..

You want to spend a couple of days on a magnificent ride? Take Vt. Rt.100 from the Mass. border and ride it 'till it ends, up near Canada. Then, go left (west) over the top of Lake Champlain into New York state. Take N Y Rt 22 south. Or you can do it in the opposite direction. You will Freakin' LOVE it.
