I just picked up a new cell phone contract, and got a new phone. I took a look at the phones available from my provider, an AT&T affiliate, and decided on the Nokia 6170. It has a bunch of bells and whistles, but the coolest is the Nokia application that I downloaded from there web site that lets me synch my phone to Outlook over the Infrared port. Very slick indeed, took all of 5 minutes to install and synch the phone. Check it out at:

To bad my old phone doesn't do this, I can't get those numbers off without doing the two handed transfer. One phone in each hand....

That is cool. I gotta plug mine into the USB port. How long will it be before we have comm chips integrated with in our brains and merely have to think about calling someone. LOL!

Cell phones are "Technology we purchase solely for the convenience of others". The number of incomming calls WAY outnumbers the number of outgoing calls. Mine never works for my convenience as I only really need it if broken down. Nature of breaking down specificly discludes the proximity of a cell tower....

I was a little concerned about the Blue Tooth thing, so I got a phone without it in the phone. I can add an adapter for that later. If they can hack Paris Hilton's cell, maybe they can get into my brain the same way. Not that I'd walk around the airport like one of those Physco's with a blue tooth headset, talking to an imaginary person. Cracks me up....
