ok, been ridin my 2001 cyclone for a little over a month. After taking the seat off a couple times, now it doesn't want to tighten down. I think the way the seat attaches is a bad design. Anyway... anyone have a quick fix? thanks |

My 2001 Cyclone does the same thing all the time. Just giggle the seat around and try again. You have to get the screw started just right. I find it helps to push down on the seat right above where the lock down screw is. It usually takes me a couple of trys to get it. |

Make sure your retaining clip is in good shape, I'm after losing at least two of those bloody bolts. |

ha ha...I push my chest down right on top of the seat and then reach underneath with both hands until I feel the bolt bite the threading- The older yer Ma Duece gets the less trouble you will have...DO NOT RIDE YOUR M2 UNLESS YOU ARE SURE THE SEAT IS SECURE... My friends seat flew off his bike when he shited his weight and the car behind him crushed hit when it hit the road (not to mention scaring the dickens out of the poor girl) could have been much worse... |
