any buellers out there have the crossroads handlebars on their scooters? i have an 02 cyclone and wanted some feedback. pics would be appreciated also.

I have them on my M2 along with Banke rearsets. The combination makes for a really aggressive position, great for track duty but not the best for every day riding. If you do a lot aggressive riding they are worth it, if not you will be uncomfortable. I will look to see if I have any pics on this computer

I have them with the crossroads rear sets on my X1, adn love them. In my case, it as actually less painfull on a long trip, though I do miss the rear pegs to hang my feet off of when riding..

Theya re more aggressive, yeah, I love them..

i may get them this winter when i put my scooter away for the winter. the more pics i see the better informed my decision will be. i will look into the rear sets

Comfort is very subjective, so bear that in mind when you read my post.

I have the Crossroads bars on my 2000 M2 - I really wasn't happy with them initially. I liked the more forward and lower riding position, but the angle of the bars put a lot of pressure on the inside of my wrists. The reason for the discomfort was apparent the first time I assembled the bars out of the box - they are 3" wider than the stock M2 handlebar at 31 1/2" (that's wider than the handlebars I raced motocross with).

I found them uncomfortable and the width made my body feel like a sail at speed. The bars also let the left side controls hit the tank - the horn button first. The position of the left side controls was all wrong with the new seating position, too. The horn and turn signals were nowhere near my left thumb anymore - I had to lift my hand to reach them. The bars are do look very high quality though, and I was impressed with the machining and manufacturing tolerances.

I experimented with different widths by taking the flyscreen off and sliding the grips into different positions along the bars. They felt best with the grip and left side controls pushed all the way to the hilt leaving no handlebar exposed on the left with a total of width of 27 1/2". I also redrilled the hole location for the controls to better access the buttons for my thumbs.

The net reduction in width put the grips in perfect harmony with the new seating position (I have footpeg relocators also). Plus, the controls don't hit the tank anymore. The angle of the bars is perfect at this width and very comfortable on my hands and wrists. The seating position is very similar to a Suzuki SV650S except with a little more leg room. The stock cables work without binding but you have to account for the extra length and route carfully. The only problem now is front brake reservoir intrudes on the stock flyscreen. I wanted to use the Crossroads very badly, so I took the plunge and trimmed the flyscreen to clear the brake reservoir.

I'm having the bike repainted and I'll post pics of the shortened handlebars and modified flyscreen soon.

I have them on my S1W. On their own, they are a great ride without too much discomfort.

When combined with the old Buell Pro Series rear sets (back 4" & up 2" ), they are not the best for everyday riding.
