I know this is not the classified section but the bike in question is not mine and not for sale yet. I told the owner I would look deep into the Badweb crystal ball and see what the experts think. So away we go. 2002 Buell S3T Thunderbolt. Deep grey with Molten Orange frame and wheels. 2400 miles as of today Purchased brand new one month ago extended warranty until 2009 July The guy really wants a Ulysses but can't swing both payments. Post away folks. NUTS |

Nutsosane, You can check Kelly Blue Book and NADA on line. I'd also suggest you scan the completed sales at ebay for similar bikes and see what they've been going for. Re-sale is generally not too good on tubers, even a nice one like this. |

thanks for the posts. I think the seller is asking more than most Badwebbers are wiling to pay. Keep riding. NUTS |

Several dealers still have "left over" Buells like this sitting around, and are STILL asking FULL LIST price for them. I hope your buddy didn't buy one of those... |

I paid $4750 for 2002 S3T in May of this year w/4300 miles on it. I couldn't pass it up at that price and I really hadn't even thought of ever buying a Buell. (Message edited by S3t_bueller on August 15, 2005) |

there's someone selling a '98 s3(not a "T" with 12,000 miles, near me, for $3800-. your guy could get maybe $1500- more for his. why doesn't the guy trade it in? might be easier than trying to sell a 4 year old bike in mid-august. |
