I read it twice and I'm still not sure what's the message they are trying to convey.

What is clear to me is that they don't like Rossi and they seize every opportunity in the article to rag on him.

No good if you ask me.

Look around that site a bit. It's VERY tongue in cheek if you ask me. I wouldn't give it much cred.

It's no rumour that Rossi wants to compete in 250GP's. He wants to win 250 and MotoGP on the same day \ weekend. Yamaha don't have a competitive 250 but they are keen to see just how serious Rossi is if they are to build him a competitive 250.

Rossi is signed with Yamaha for the '06 season ONLY. Other then that and he was spotted testing a Ferrari F1 with Ferrari admitting to an upcoming vacancy for '07...I don't have anything else to add.

I believe he meant riding in the 250 also - in 2006.

As for the Ferrari deal - what a waste it would be to see the most spectacular of motorcycle racers deviate towards what's become the most boring single seat car racing on the planet. Total effing waste if it happens - which I doubt.

You've got that right, I can't bear to watch it.

You got that right Rocketman!

When Mike the Bike went from stunning us with feats like using street curbs as acceleration wheel stoppers at the IOM, he went to sitting visible and upright a F1 car. He could actually be seen steering as the car power drifted through curves and corners. And it was often alongside a like minded guy in another car. You could even see him drop a hand from the wheel to shift gears.

And the cars sounded like cars too!

Those were the days!

I see Rossi's just signed for Yamaha for 06. His fee? £20 million!

I'm glad to hear Rossi signed with the Yammerhammers again, there was some speculation that Honda would get him back, maybe because of the chance to ride the 250 GP class too.

Maybe they'll cobble up some kind of 250 ride for him and he'll ride both classes anyway.
