So I just received my second brand new/ defective blast pro-series pipe. The header outlets on both pipes I've received have been FUBAR'd and there has been no way I could make either work out. Then again, I really shouldn't have to, as I don't think I'm paying for a janky pipe.

Now I'm sitting here with this janky header on my floor. I've already eaten the cost on sending one muffler back, I don't plan on doing it again. Then again, I'm not keeping this thing either. I haven't ridden in two months, and I'm just getting aggravated with this whole situation. I ordered both pipes from Daves and he's been super accomodating, but I hate bothering him with this for a third time, as it only means that I'll end up waiting another couple weeks for a pipe. What can I do here? Nothing? I posted a thread for Daves, but maybe someone has other suggestions while I'm waiting for his reply?

That's not good. May I suggest that you request a calltag to be issued by the place you bought from? Anyone who ships can issue a calltag. All you would have to do is have the piece boxed and waiting for UPS to pick it up. No cost to you. Just my 2 cents.

Sounds unusual, but totally fixable.

DaveS is on vacation. If you'd like to send me pictures, I'd be happy to take a look at them and if I can help I will.

Send the pictures to me at this address and be certain to put FAULTY BLAST HEADER in the topic.

I put the pro series pipe on a friend's blast - that thing was a BITCH to put on. The tab didn't line up right on the headers and had to be bent down. After a lot of sweat, blood, and cursing I managed to get it on.

Not really impressed. That, and the black finish down at the bottom of the headers was flaking off - before I even put it on!

Yep, I am on vacation but I will get this fixed for you.
I will be calling Buell today to see what the heck is going on!
I am sorry. Figured it couldn't happen twice in a row.

I put a Kerker pipe on my Blast and it took all of 30 minutes. Sounds bad azz too.
