I will contact Peggy & Mary about this on Monday, just wanted to see if anyone here may know. The Dealer that sponsors our club will no longer be a Buell dealership starting this October. I have yet to ask what they would like to do about the BRAG club, but my question would be.... Can a H-D dealer sponsor a BRAG club if they do not carry the Buell line? I am not sure if there is any cost to the dealer to be a sponsor, but if there isn't I was going to ask to continue the club for those associated with it and for any new comers (although having a no dealer to have an affect on that may limit any further newbe's). Thanks for any info |

You might want to try to blend it in to the HOG club, let them take care of the nuts and bolts of daily operations, but have your own subset, like the Ladies of Harley subset, within the club. worth a shot. |

"Can a H-D dealer sponsor a BRAG club if they do not carry the Buell line?" No. According to the Annual Charter for BRAG Clubs . . Article II - Sponsorship 1. Each club must be sponsored by an authorized Buell dealership. |

My suggestion, and something I will probably be doing soon is: Ride the distance to a dealer (if you can) who carries and LIKES Buells, otherwise you will be a fish swimming upstream (even if they do carry them). Why waste your time? |

you seem to function well now without dealer support? True, but it is hard to reach other Buellers, new & old, without having a reference base - such as a dealership. Ride the distance to a dealer (if you can) who carries and LIKES Buells The wheels are in motion with that idea already Thanks |

Gomo where are you located in Hudson Valley? A few of us here have gotten together and continue to add new Buell riders every week it seems. Usually meet up at Mikexlr's place and head out from there. |

Buelluk.... I had a very bad impression at Woodstock.. Salesman was an a$$ hole and told me to come back when I had money. Little did he know I had and was paying cash. Long story short.. went to Danbury and had the best experience ever at a Harley dealership. |

I used to frequent Woodstock because there was a BadWeb member on the parts counter who has since left , however I concur with you about some of the sales staff ,one of them has very little time for Buellers. In addition over the last year or so , it has become more and more of a Harley clothes and chrome emporium |

I have been meaning to meet up with you folks, but between teaching the past couple of weeks and a 17 yr old son learning to drive as well as working on my wifes riding skills, things have been busy. And with vactions coming up real soon, it looks like I may try to run in with you guys in the beginning of September. Have any of you gone to Bear Mt., I believe it's Wed. evening when all the HotRods & bikes show up. I have heard that there are hundreds of bike and cars. Perhaps we can meet one night there and check out some of the rides. |

gomo, we seem to be building a decent little group. nice riding, sane speeds but some decent lean angle, everyone seems to run in a similar comfort zone. we even had a bbq last weekend after a scenic two up ride. pretty cool. |

I won't be able to make Bear Mt this Wed., plus my ride is being worked on so I have my HD to ride. As long as weather permits, I am going to try to make next Wed at the Mt. Perhaps we can pick a meeting spot. |

ANOTHER BRAG QUESTION We at the Colorado Thunder Club have printed up shirts for our members with our logo on it. No Buell or BRAG reference on the shirts, no Buell or BRAG logos printed on the shirts, just our logo designed by me. Our dealer liason thought wearing our club shirts to the BRAG "Riding in the Rockies Adventure" would incur the wraith of the Motor Company in some way shape or form. Can anyone tell me with certainty what BRAG bylaw would forbid the host BRAG club from wearing their club tshirts at this event? I'll fax this question to BRAG tomorrow to be all official. In the mean time, anyone have an answer? |

It is to my understanding that as long as there is no logo "borrowing" of BRAG or Buell there is no problem. I believe the Dealer is involved with deciding any use of the clubs name as well as using any logo you may have come up with for the club. |

Guess our White Mountain Thunder Club logo with the big fat pegasus in the middle would be a no go, eh? |
